An attractive Arts and Crafts style property in the Milford on Sea Conservation Area had an existing conservatory constructed in the mid twentieth Century. Our Client wanted to replace this with a new Orangery in a style more suited to the Arts and Crafts appearance of his home. We obtained planning approval and Conservation Area consent for the changes in late 2018 and the approved layouts have now been transformed into an elegant addition to this home. At the initiative of the owner, decorative grilles integrated into parquet flooring may be seen as a feature of the interior. Local craftsman, Adam from New Forest Box Sash, whose work is also featured elsewhere on the FAL website has made an excellent job of all of the joinery. The works completed in Summer 2019 offer a stunning and complementary addition to this period property.
