Hordle Interiors

The interior of this project was completed in Spring 2019.

Unrecognisable from the previous small kitchen the completed works invite a seamless transition from inside to out. Now it is possible to experience the attractive Sweet Chesnut that frames the gently sloping garden from within the new open plan spaces. The kitchen is attractive, practical and is complemented by the comfortable snug with its focus on a woodburning stove. The contrast of the warm natural oak frame with the clean contemporary white surfaces is reinforced by the bright interior where daylight is encouraged through high performance glazing in windows and roof lights.
