As the cellular layout of the bungalow has been revisited to create an open plan environment this has required substantial demolition of the interior. The adjacent image illustrates the extent to which it was necessary to provide temporary support of the structure. The loft has been upgraded and the staircase has been relocated into the extension permitted under the planning approval.

Following completion of the structural works and the new envelope for the extension, windows and doors have been replaced to the existing property and an extensive upgrade of the internal lighting finishes and decoration. Bespoke lighting designs and integrated media solutions have been incorporated together with intelligent heating controls and emergency sensors. The project will be completed this Spring.
